Pastel on Paper

I work with dry pastels on paper primarily because of the spontaneous nature of the medium. It allows me to draw and paint with total gestural freedom. To keep the art flowing, many times I start with no preconceived thoughts of what to paint, until I start painting. This is my version of Intelligent Design.
